Welcome to my blog. I hope you find plenty of inspiration here. Nothing too fancy, no great skills required, just lots of cards, gifts and perhaps the odd bit of shopping.
My blog contains lots of links to freebies. Without sounding like "mother" can I ask you to leave a kind comment to the generous givers of such fabulous artwork. I know of at least a couple of artists who are feeling a bit unloved at the moment. Thanks. X

Boxing clever.
I love making boxes but tend to make them willy nilly with no idea what I'm going to put in them or who I'm going to give them to. It wasn't long before I had boxes all over the place getting battered and dusty. Then one day I had one of those lightbulb ideas. I realised that if I leave my boxes flat ready to assemble when I need one I could go completely box crazy. They can be stored in a nice clean box of their own, I use a plastic one from the Really useful box company available at Rymans.
Enjoy your Sunday. I'll be going "out to play" (sip sip) with hubby later. Di.xx

Mini notecards
I love making cards but I love making boxes even more. They are very quick and easy to make and they turn a few simple cards into a gift. I use a scorepal which makes them a doddle. I don't know how to post links yet but I get most of my box/bag instructions from the resources page at Splitcoast Stampers. Here are a couple of sets I've made. The cat stamp is by Incastamps and i found it on Monday in WHS bargain bit for £2. The hedgie is a penny black stamp. Well, that's me for now, I've got to go to the dreaded Tesco (which is not far from WHS) ....now there's a thought.... Tata for now Di xx.

NEARLY FORGOT!!
There i was playing happily in my craft room when an alarm went off in my head. OMG! It's my brother in laws birthday on monday and i've not made him a card.Of course NOBODY has spare male cards hanging around (do they ?) so i had to rustle this one up.It's a Clare Curd clear stamp and the DP is from a Brenda Pinnick stack (qvc).Phew, i would have been in such bad books.
Tata for now. Di.
Tilda birthday.
Hello again. Slightly warmer today and no snow, touch wood. It's my days off today and tomorrow so i've got the slow cooker in action so i can have an easy life for the next few mealtimes. I was lucky enough to find one which is split in half so i've got a beef ruby going on in one half and italian beef with tomatoes and olives in the other, talk about clash of the aromas in the kitchen !!
So with that sorted i can now show you a card i made last week. The design paper is from the bloom and grow stack from My minds eye. I love these papers as they have elements like the flowers on this card which can be cut out to embelish. I coloured Tilda with promarkers and paper pieced her wellies.
I'm off into my craft room now to have a play.
Thanks for visiting. Di. XX

Pull the udder one.
You will begin to realise that most of my cards are of a simple nature ( a bit like me). I am far too impatient to take hours over a masterpiece which will probably end up in someones bin . I like to be finished and on to the next one.
This one is made using an elzybells clear stamp from one of their farmyard sets coloured with my beloved promarkers. A friend of my hubbys called round the other day when i was doing a spot of colouring. He said "ooh look at all those pens, my little girl would love to get her hands on them"!! Well!!! I gathered them to my breast and ran!
See you soon , Di xx
Sympathy cards.
Welcome to my blog. I am absolutely rubbish on computers, but not bad at making cards so I hope you'll all forgive any blips! Please feel free to have a good titter.
These two cards are my most recent and thankfully they have nobody to go to yet. I used a hessian textured card and chalked around a punched circle. The dandelion trio stamp is by Stampendous and the single dandy(on the right) is by hero arts which I stamped three times. They were really easy to make.
Thanks for popping in. Di xx
